Mind - For Better Mental Health

Forest School - Folkestone

Tuesday 15th August 2017

We are thrilled to advise that this fantastic opportunity is currently still FREE - A chance to try wood whittling, cooking on an open fire and learn about the local natural environment. Try building a shelter, drinking nettle tea and resting in a hammock admiring the trees and wildlife. A perfect environment to practice Mindfulness in. The project is facilitated by a qualified practitioner. Taking place at the back of the Sports Centre Woodland area, Radnor Park 2pmpm - 3.30pm. Leaving the Centre at 1.30pm or meet at the Sports Centre at 1.45pm.

Please note that to access our outings, activities and events you need to be a member of Mind. Please telephone the Centre (01303 250090) if you would like further details.

Please refer to our Wellbeing Programme page for ongoing activities and events held internally - i.e. music sessions and individual lessons, art/crafts, sewing/textiles, person centred planning etc and externally - horticultural/photographic project, clay sculpture workshops, gym group and health walks etc.
